Telecommunications Essentials Certificate

This certificate introduces students to intermediate telecommunications concepts, including Solid State Devices and Circuits. Upon completing this certificate, the student can compete for intermediate and advanced level positions in the telecommunications industry. This certificate, which is taught by fully accredited Pace University, can be used as a stand-alone credential or can be folded into the Associates degree.

Who should apply?
This program is open to people interested in learning the technical aspects of current telecommunications technologies and who:

Are high school graduates
Cannot attend a traditional college program
Wish to prepare for intermediate level technical jobs in the industry
Want to expand their knowledge of the technical aspects of the industry

What will I learn?
The courses provide students with a basic knowledge of the electronics needed for a complete understanding of the telecommunications industry.

What certificate will I earn?

How long does the program take to complete?
Assuming most students are studying part-time, the program can be completed in one year.
